Glowing Photo Holder

Grandparent's Day is coming! Change a candle holder into a glowing photo holder. This project is inexpensive and easy! Great gift idea for so many holidays and celebrations! Personalize it & change it up, as this is something that will make everyone smile.

You'll need:

  • A Candle holder or recycle jar
  • Pictures - printed paper or real photos
  • Scissors
  • Double stick tape
  • LED light
Print out the photos you want and print them on paper or order prints. Both will work great. Personalize it for the person you are giving the gift to. In this case this will be a gift from my kids to their grandparents for Grandparent's Day.
Cut your photos out if you printed them, and cut them to fit the size of your candle holder. Mine is a square candle holder from the Dollar Tree. You could easily use a recycled jar for this project as well.
Place 2 strips of double stick tape on top each photo. You could use glue dots, or another form of adhesive if you like. Decide if you want the photos to be attached permanently or if you want to be able to change the photos up when picking your adhesive.
Press the photos with the double stick tape onto the glass on the inside of the candle holder.
Continue to tape the photos into place on your candle holder. Use one photo or add as many photos as you like to your candle holder. Since mine is a square I place one on each side.
Place your LED light or a battery operated tealight into your candle holder.
Turn it on and watch it glow!
Place your glowing photo holder somewhere to enjoy.
Make it for yourself or give it as a gift.
Great for special events like weddings, baby showers, etc.
My kids were able to help pick out the photos, and put this together so that they can give it to their grandparents for Grandparent's Day.
