M y best friend got married this past winter in Israel, and she has wanted to make a photo collage since she got the proofs. So we printed out some of the photos, and went to the arts & crafts store. We wanted to keep it simple- So we thought the easiest and most mistake free way to photo collage would be to use a plain ol' tackboard (no messy glue= great!). We bought the tackboard and clear pins and decided to make the border of the collage by pinning these beautiful thin plastic flowers around the edges. We had been browsing at Joanne's arts & crafts store a few months back, and knowing that the wedding was around Thanksgiving time, we were searching for ways to incorporate some fall colors into the table settings. We bought these leaves (they were on sale for 1$ a package!) and ended up putting one on every plate at the wedding reception. Now they came in handy again as the border of our photo collage!
The center of the collage is a note that the bride wrote about her and her husbands' ancestors, which was given out to the guests to read at the reception.
The finished product is a bunch of her favorite photos collaged in a gorgeous frame!....
Finished product!
