To clean stainless steal, start by spraying your appliance liberally with vinegar and wiping it down with a soft cloth. Then dip your cloth in a bit of olive oil and wipe in the direction of the grain.

    Windex!

  • If you have the new "black" stainless steel, follow manufacturers instructions - several of my neighbors and my cleaning lady say the finish is already wearing off! I know of a couple people that have returned as the fridge was only a few months old. Do not know if this is brand specific or industry wide. For as much as they cost, this should not happen - falls into the manufacturing defect category.

After cleaning, I use WD40 to finish it. Then I try not to TOUCH anything but the handles.

I bought this thinking it was stainless. However, after delivery, I discovered it was not only non stainless, but also non magnetic. Instructions say to use water only for cleaning, but that just doesn't seem to do the job. Especially evident after a 2 week visit from our soon to be 3 yr. old grandson! Endless fingerprints!!
