Can I paint a milkgass light globe?

I want to paint a globe to a stand up light I have. My desire is to have a marbled look to it when finished. Any ideas of how I can accomplish this would be appreciated.

You use feathers to run through the layers of paint to get the marble look.
I've used glass paint successfully to create a stained glass effect on light bulbs, looks lovely without a lampshade.

No! Take it to an antique store and sell it! Then go buy something new instead of ruining something old and beautiful!
Maybe use milk paint? 😂 Just kidding...I've heard of the feather trick before - looks just like marble.
Get glass paint from your local craft store. Then you can use the feather technique to create the marbled look.
or the nail polish idea
are you calling the globe milk glass?
There is a special glass spray paint now made, don't remember if it's Rust-Oleum or Krylon, but I I saw it at Ace hardware when buying spray paint for another project. Good luck, would like to see the finished product
