From trash and toys arose a beautiful art piece and it cost me $6. SEE ALL PHOTOS & INSTRUCTIONS HERE But below you can see the basics of it!
Gather your supplies. In my case that included an old frame I had kept even though it was missing the glass. It's exactly what I was needing for this project. I had the spray paint so all I needed were realistic toy butterflies which I purchased on Amazon here for $6.   That was my only cost.
Painted my frame white.
I spray painted my butterflies gold. NOTE: The BEST gold I've personally found after testing many is Rust Oleum's American Accents Ultra Cover 2X Spray Paint, Metallic Gold. It has the truest gold look in my opinion.
Add a dob of glue to the back of each butterfly. Its a good idea to lay them out ahead of time on your frame to get the spacing. You can even mark your paper if desired. I just eyeballed mine. You want about 2" or so between your butterflies. FURTHER DETAILS & PHOTOS ON OUR SITE POST LINK AT BOTTOMicon
I love the feeling of creating something beautiful out of odd things such as this, especially when I can incorporate items I already have such as the frame.   I’ll bet your house is full of things just waiting to be turned into something gorgeous!
