I did this years ago as a feature wall in the dining room. I went to a AMVET store and bought some cheap wallpaper. I then put up the wall paper first so that I would not destroy the drywall if I changed my mind later and took it down. I bought cheap laminate flooring in a roll and cut it to the size. I used the laminate flooring glue to put it up on the wallpaper. It looked great and the glue held it in place. I never did take it down but I am pretty sure given the flooring was glued to the wallpaper that the walls would come clean if removed.....
I think this is a great idea with so many possibilities. With all of the new vinyl peel and stick tile designs available these days you can really create some fantastic decor.
SURE !
YES YOU CAN! see my bathroom walls???? woop
quick and easy way to cover walls - I applied mine directly to drywall - maybe shouldn't have, but I'm doing all the finish work and I can do what I want! ha
I used it above my cabinets. Added some roofing nails to make it look a bit more rustic plus the wall was textured so peel and stick wasn't working and the nail we're on hand.😋
Awesome, people! I say SURE, DO IT to this idea!
