What's a good fix for shower ceilings.

The first thing I would do is contact the company that installed your tile. Have them fix the ceiling to where it was before they started work. Take pictures.

Since I don't know what kind of a "mess" it is, I can't help you through it.

Hi Janna :) If it were me, I would call them back and tell them what they did and that they have to fix it free of charge (or at least consult an attorney about what I should do). It is totally WRONG for the contractor to leave any sort of mess behind concerning an area of your home that they weren't contracted to do. If they damaged your ceiling they need to repair that damage (or mess) to the way it was originally. I'm telling you the older I get the more I don't play around with folks who are lax about respecting others the way I have always tried to show respect to others and their property, and I am totally understanding my Dad'w attitude and behaviour much better LOL

The contractor who did the job needs to be contacted.

I agree with all of the above, document by taking photos. I detest sloppy contractors - seems to be so many of them out there. Don't let them get away with it! My social media using friends would be posting photos and bad reviews.

Call the contractor back! It is his job to leave the job completely finished.

If its a licensed contractor and they refuse to fix it go to your State Contractor's Licensing Board online and file a complaint.
