Can you paint the backs of lined drapes?

One set of the drapes have off white backs and the other has white backing. The difference is noticeable from the outside.

    Can't see why you couldn't paint using a fabric paint, but it might just be easier to switch your the lining of one

      Thanks for your suggestion but it is not an actual separate lining, more like room darkening material applied to the drapery itself. One reader has suggested fabric medium added to paint so will likely try that. Thank you again.

    By adding a fabric medium to your paint you can paint any cloth. It's amazing how easy it is and how great it turns out. I just painted my chair cushions and love them. Good luck!

    Yes, using fabric paint. But I would just hang a plain white bed sheet behind the drapes that have the black lining--- you won't be able to tell the difference.
