Pinterest Inspired Dog Bed

Easy
I wanted to try this project so badly! I found a table in a thrift store for 15 and went for it!
The table is from the 80's. The only real wood is the edges. The bottom and the sides are a very thin veneer.
I decided to take the doors off.
To blend with our other end table, which is pretty, tall I wanted to add feet. I added two towards the front and two towards the back. It's very sturdy.
I didn't think the edges were thick enough for the bolt that was attached to the feet to go in without splitting the wood. I cut pieces of 2x4 and screwed them to the inside. I also added some liquid nail.
I wanted to use my chalk paint recipe which is 4 parts paint to 1 part spackling. I wasn't sure it would adhere properly because of the wood veneer so I used primer first. Then I used stain on the feet.
After two coats of the chalk paint I then lightly distressed.
Distressing
Distressed edges. I also put on a coat of polycrylic.
Stained legs
I bought a chair cushion for the bed.
It's the perfect size for a little dog. She's a 7 pound Chi-Poo.

Did the legs come with it? I bought two tables for 8 each and can't decide if I want to add legs to it
