Decoupage furniture
I bought a set of six very dated chairs that were dated but structurally sound. I painted a set of four for a rustic dining set, but was at a loss as to how to tackle the last two. The shape was very uninspiring, and the veneer was in pretty bad shape. A trip to my fabric scrap bag (plus a couple of larger pieces), a bottle of mod podge, and some snazzy upholstery and my daggy chair is a statement piece!
