A friend from work who saw my Coffee Can Canister Upcycle brought me some drink mix plastic containers to see if I could do anything with them. It took me a while but once again, necessity was the mother of invention and I came up with a pretty cool upcycle that is not only pretty but incredibly useful - for those of a "certain" age, like me.
For a more detailed tutorial check out my blog! I used another graphic from Karen - The Graphics Fairy
When the one on the left was empty, I made the one on the right.
I love how this turned out - what a great eye glass holder for my reading glasses!
Some paint, Mod Podge, @Karen-Graphics Fairy and a few clothes pins and it's complete!
I used those tumbled glass pieces to weigh it down.

Another use for these is in the freezer - at least for me as a single person. After a good washing, I put my homemade broth, soups, ect in them. They hold approximate 1 1/2 cup of goods, stack easily, and I get a lot more in my freezer! I even use them to to hold the frozen vegetables - just use freezer labels on the for dates and ingredients and your good to go!

Have several of these and also have several pairs of reading glasses in every room of my house because my husband and I wear the same strength. So happy to see this idea, thank you so much!!!
