Why are the leaves all rusty coloured on my Red Currant Bush?

It was doing great this spring, large, nice green leaves, then no fruit and leaves looking a rusty colour. Now it looks dead? What happened?

The leaves are changing due to the year. This yr. has been a very hot one, and the plants are really tired out from the heat, and diff. atmosphere. Next yr. will be a nicer yr. I am sure. Keep your chin up, winter is coming, then spring is coming!!! J.
your currents have a fungus. There's a spray for it to be used next spring but little can be done now . Don't forget to spray ground around base.
This sounds like a Fire Bush. Read the notes that came with it. J.
Lohnism3 What is the spray called? It almost looks dead, but we're still watering it. We are located in the Okanagan of B.C. in Canada. So can't send leaves.
