How do I build a Lazy Susan in my corner cabinet.

I have a very large lower cabinet and would love to build a lazy susan in there. Is it possible to build it in the far end? I can't figure out how it could be reached. There is 1 door and you have to reach more than an arm lengths to get to my pans in the back.

Why don't you go somewhere where they have cabinet showrooms and check it out? Bring your facts and figures, plus photos on your cellphone and then talk to a salesperson at Home Depot or Lowes. I am pretty sure they sell parts of cabinets and cabinet accessories for the DIY people who shop there.

If you have shelves in the cabinet, are they removable? If not consider Rubbermaid's large Lazy Susan. But measure the diagonal opening in the doorway above each shelf. The Lazy Susan is big but not completely round, it has a flat side and that is where the dimension is the smallest. That is the dimension that has to be able to go through the door's opening on the diagonal. I have used mine in an upper corner cabinet as well as a deep dead corner in a lower cabinet. They can be a bit resistant to a heavy load so my husband cut a piece of underlayment to fit in the bottom and that distributed the weight enough to let it ride freely on the ball bearings. There are kits at home improvement stores. You can get the rotating part for about $5, and then the material you want to make the top out of is at your discretion
