Maybe you could detach the fronts of the drawers from the sides and bottom, place the bottoms inside the cavities and hinge the drawer fronts on the sides so the open out. Use cavities to store all sorts of things.

You can remove the drawers, make solid dividers, and use baskets instead...turn it into a bench or seat...check Pinterest for inspiration!

You could also have the drawer stops at the back repaired to keep the drawers from falling out. Take an old one to the hardware store for replacements.

love the idea

The handles are really unique. If nothing else salvage them. If it is real wood, I'd go for it. If it isn't, consider taking off the handles and put it on the curb the night before garbage collection. I bet it will be picked up by another upcyclist.

Remove the drawers and dividers. Install shelves. Paint it and use it for storage Such as towels, etc.

I think it would look great if refinished, fix the drawer and sand it, then use maybe a grey stain or even paint it. put a nice stencil on the front of it. The handles are very unique. The top might be leather? that can be made to look new, if not leather it does look in good condition and reminds me of waves, paint a light blue then rub a darker blue to make the indentations look darker and it would look similar to water I think. I would not throw it away if it is wood, it is too unique. Give it to me :)

Remove the top two drawers and add bottom pieces to make cubbies. Paint or refinish and use as tv stand with top openings for electronics and drawers for storage.
