What color to paint shutters and entry door

I personally think black would make it so classy looking and add window boxes and two flower urns in black to tie it all together.

Paint your front door black and add a bright yellow wreath on the door with a black/white ribbon. Paint the eave of your house black, as the white detracts. I am thinking too, paint all your white trim, a darker yellow to enhance your house color and do away with the white. Visit a local home store for color samples and suggestions. Black urns, as mentioned by Barb, are a good idea.

If your not sure, get a few paint samples and try them on the door until you decide.

Charcoal

I think a nice "colonial blue" would be pretty. A word of caution, though, if your door is a steel entry door. My front door is steel, and the manufacturer warns not to paint it a dark color if the door is in direct sunlight, because it will get too hot and warp it.

I looked up some color options and the red door with green shutters came up a few times and looks good on a pale yellow house! Check out the pics!

A nice rusty bronze

Mid grey with charcoal around windows. Keep windows white.

With yellow siding, I'd go with a forest green or colonial red. Or black.
