Tile Mosaic Work on Side Paneling of Kitchen Island

I really enjoy working with broken ceramic tile. You can do so much with it when crafting. When I saw the sides of my kitchen island looking so blah, I knew I had to do something creative with it. With that said, I decided to create some tile work using colors central to my granite counter-top. It’s not difficult to remove if someday I should get bored and redo both sides again.
Level of difficulty was moderate. I used ordinary tile grout to adhere the tile and colored ceramic tiles and glass beads as accent pieces. I am a sucker for the visually appealing. Adding various textures, colors, and geometrics to your home really speaks volumes about your style and sass!
Difficulty: Medium

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the way this looks!!!!Can you tell how/where you got the pieces of tile and what adhesive you used? Do you think it was easier or harder than using conventional square or rectabular tiles?Did I tell you already that I LOVE IT?!!!! I wonder if my hubby would go for something unconventional, that doesn't have step-by-step directions to follow?
