Beeswax replacement for plastic wrap

Do you know if I can coat all my old plastic ware (containers with lids) with beeswax, to make them usable again? Is there something I need to do to make the beeswax stick to plastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas you share!!

No it won't stick. If the lids are damaged, I would look for some lids at the thrift store, or buy yogurt or cottage cheese at the store so the lids fit, and then just spray them with Krylone plastic pan for a uniform look.

Here is a great tutorial that I actually saved earlier today! I think these beeswax impregnated cloths could help! : )

Thanks, Sharon and Kim. The West Coast has spoken. :) Sharon, what do you mean by "Krylone Plastic pan?" Do you mean a sprayable plastic? Is that non-toxic, or is it back to the same estrogen distrupter issue? Kim...I am off to check your link NOW. Thank you both!!
