I love a 15 minute craft project. And this is a GOOD one! Make a gorgeous fall wreath with just a few supplies that will really make your door pop. If you like this wreath, don't miss out on my favorite fall craft projects!
What You'll Need: This simple project uses a bunch of preserved oak leaves that you can find at most craft stores during the fall for $8 a bunch or so. Use your 40% off coupons to get them for even less! One bunch is all you need to cover this grapevine wreath. You'll also want a pair of sturdy scissors and hot glue.
This is what you'll have 15 minutes later! So easy, and so much less expensive than buying a wreath like this.
Step 1: All you need to do is cut the leaves from the bunch, leaving a couple inch long stem. You can "fluff up" the flattened leaves with your fingers to give them a little more fullness.
Step 2: Insert the stems right into the grapevine wreath. I didn't even bother using glue for mine because they stay in place well and I liked the option of reusing my grapevine wreath for something different later. However, you can secure each stem with hot glue for a more permanent hold. Continue to fill in all the grapevine wreath with leaves.
Step 3: Hang with a pretty ribbon. This thick yellow burlap ribbon paired perfectly with the yellow and red fall leaves.
What a showstopper this is on a front door! If you like this wreath, check out my corn husk and feather wreath (one of my favorite wreaths I've ever made)!
