FIX IT WITH DUCT TAPE!

We have relied on this cook book for our almost 53 years together...published in 1950. I love and still use this old cookbook because I like to cook from scratch instead of mixes where you just add water or milk and stir. A few days ago when hubby walked in and saw the shape it was in, he did an excellent repair on it. I figure it is good for many more years to come! Great job!

I did exactly the same thing last year, with my Mom's old Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook. Wouldn't part with that for the world, and I'm with you on cooking from scratch. Tastes so much better! More people should try it.

I have that cook book also Jeanette which I also have duck taped, yes and I still use it, always fall back on it, has so many good recipes.
