Are they too outdated? Does anyone have them in their kitchen?

I'm not sure what you mean Patsy. Can you explain them please?

I will try to post a picture of some of them I have in my kitchen.

Okay. The only thing I can think of that they may be is shelves at the end of the cabinets.

Wall pockets that I know are like vases that you hang on the walled they are flat on the wall side. They are from the 40s and 50s so if that is the era you like or if you just like them don't lat anyone tell you they are old fashioned! Life is too short not to live with things and people you love.

Yes, that is what they are. I have some that I really like and they are on the wall in my kitchen. The only thing I don't like about them is they need cleaning frequently. Thank you Ann. You're right, life is too short not to enjoy the things you love.

I love wall pockets...they remind me of my grandmother and that is always a great thing to remember! As for cleaning them, I take it they are glass? If so, next time wash them and then rinse them in vinegar! Vinegar has no soap or cleaner thus gunk does not adhere to it like it does to soap or ingredients in glass cleaner! (Vinegar is also great to clean your windows with!)

Love the idea of rinsing them in vinegar! good idea for anything washable in the kitchen area!

Thanks for the good advice. The vinegar should help. I will remember that. Being in the kitchen they do get gunk on them. I have an even dozen on my walls so it's a chore, but I do like the color they add to my kitchen.
