Some of the press down tiles have become so loose that I can pull them up from the floor. I was wondering what should I do before replacing them to fix my floor. Should I clean existing glue from back of tile? How should I prepare the floor as it is linoleum so tiles will stick to floor? I only have enough money to use what I have with the exception of buying glue and cleaner

Go to a home improvement store in you area and check with them. Most of the employees really know their stuff for the section they work in normally. They should be able to help you with exactly what you need to adhere the tiles back and if you need to remove the adhesive that is on the tile and subfloor, and how to do it. I hope this helps. I have never had to reglue tiles, but that is what I would do.

i used a glue remover and made sure all was clean and put another tile down.they do tend to "lose" their stickiness if the area isn't totally free of dirt, etc.

When you buy 12x12 stick floor tiles, I urge people to buy an extra box, so if this happens, they have extra tiles. Always buy the same lot#s on each box. I'm not sure what you can do. Call the store where you bought them and ask, or go to Homedepot or Lowe's, and ask for some help. Bring one tile with you. Good Luck!

Clean off all the old glue from the tile and the floor. Then use a strong adhesive like Liquid Nails or R6000 to reglue the tiles.
