A note of caution about painting

One thing you might want to be aware of, according to my Fire Captain husband (for 27 years) is that it should be painted OUTSIDE. He says that spray paint in the house can explode and that you are risking fire and a terrible burn injury. He has seen people critically injured doing this indoors. Pilot lights, such as the one on a water heater, or a clothes dryer can ignite it and your life will never be the same. So, thank you so much for the great idea, but please just paint outdoors!
