1 clean gallon jug. 1 table spoon dish soap. 1/2 cup non suds-ing ammonia OR vinagar , few drops blue food color, fill gallon jug with water, add dish soap, ammonia, food coloring. cap jug and mix. fill window washer.
The cheapest way to get washer fluid for the car is to go through the hand car wash with a car full of jugs. Put in a quarter or half dollar, whatever is minimal, and fill those jugs with the washer fluid at the car wash. Sell some of them to your neighbors for a dollar and make back your money or keep them for your car all year round. This may need a little alcohol or windex in it if you live in an extremely cold part of the country.

Add, dish soap, ammonia, and food coloring (optional). Recap the bottle and gently tip upside down a few times to mix ingredients. Pour into the windshield wiper fluidreservoir of your car.
