Just when I would think to myself, what else could I possibly create with Clay, I always find something. In case you guys missed my previous “clay adventures” you should check out my Marbled Clay Bowls, Geometric Coasters, Ikat Clay Coasters and DIY Cactus Clay Ring Holder.
But lets get to todays little project
MATERIALS NEEDED
Oven Bake Clay (this is what I’ve been using in all my projects)
Spray Adhesive
Gem Crystals Self-Adhesive
Baking Tray
Empty Bottle
So basically the colors for the clay that I chose for this bottle was literally the “leftover” clay pieces from all the previous project mentioned above.
I had these small amounts of clay, in all the colors you can imagine but which you couldn’t really use to make anything out of, but I didn’t want it to go to waste hence I mixed them altogether into a ball.
Then I rolled it out completely flat and that is when you could see the beautiful marbling.
After this I took the empty bottle and sprayed it with a little Spray Adhesive.
And completely wrapped the beautiful marbled clay onto the bottle.
Since the clay was soft at this point, I thought it would be perfect to place my self adhesive gemstone into it.
Then after that it was time for it to get baked at 275F for 15 minutes.
Let it cool and you have your bottle all ready!
