I need help selecting a color to paint pantry cabinets.

My walls are Sherwin Williams' Cavern Clay (a deep terra cotta). As for the cabinets, I need help deciding on what type wood to use or should I paint them? I do not want white. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A rich, golden yellow may coordinate nicely. Thinking toward Southwestern color scheme without the accessories. It's a way to play it safe.

When I painted my livingroom walls, I found this from Sherwin Williams. http://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/try-on-colors/color-visualizer/ Take a picture of your room with the cabinets and then launch this visualizer. Add your picture to it and then you can choose which color you like best. Amazingly, our white walls went to a sealskin color based on this program (very dark gray.) Because we used this program, I didn't mess around with different shades or anything. And we LOVE how it all turned out.

I like the golden yellow idea or a deep rich tan would be nice. A soft brown could be pretty too.

I painted mine a cream color and then I antiqued them, they r beautiful.

I'm with Renee. Not knowing the size of your room, Cream would be a wonderful neutral complementary color. Best of luck.
