    According to https://diy.stackexchange.com/.../what-is-the-right-drill-bit-for-concrete-or-stone-walls

A hammer drill is necessary when drilling stone or concrete, since grinding away the material with a standard drill would take far too long. ... You are also going to want to use a hammer drill to make your holes. If it is stone, this bit will also work on stone or concrete like an exterior wall.

Try using a Hiliti gun, if this is the best way to go. You need Mollie bolts to hang something on cement. Go to Homedepot or Lowe's, and go to the tool department, and ask. If it's a Hiliti and you don't own one, you could rent one. If you have the right drill bit, ask what kind of mollies you need. Also, what is the weight of what your hanging. Good Luck!

A regular or cordless drillmotor should be OK for 1/4" carbide bit or smaller. If the wall has mortar joints they will be easiest to drill.

Use a masonry drill bit and insert Mollie bolts. Drill into the stone and not the cement, if you have it.
