Broken couch springs

Question

I have a couple of broken springs in my couch. I have put something firm under it to give the cushion support, but it doesn't feel the same, and now my cushions slide all the time because they can't be velcro'd down to the couch bottom. Suggestions?

Replace the springs from underneath. Peel back the black clothe on bottom, and pull out the bad spring, Then visit an upholstry supply shop or buy one online, and get the waxed thread and upholstery needles. There are lots of videos on You Tube how to tie springs.
