No, I have not used risers, but I wanted to suggest you may want to buy or build a radiator cover to add space over the radiator for whatever purpose: books, dƩcor, etc. When every inch counts like that, an extra shelf might help!
We have used risers for our kid's dorm room beds and they worked like a charm. The beds were steady and it created a lot of extra storage for all their stuff. Give it a try!
Haven't used the risers, but the answers here for storage are great. What we did in a very small bathroom was put up a shelf with three wooden brackets over the door and along the whole wall. (one bracket on each side of the door and one at the end of the shelf) You could do that over and between the two doors. It could also be done over the window. Paint the shelf the same color as the walls and put baskets up there to store items not used every day.
