Try using one or more sun sails. They are on Ebay, several colors, squares, rectangles and triangles.

I bought a gazebo and frame from JCP on sale and this will be the 3rd year. It works great but this year I need to run it through a front loader at the laundromat somewhere and wash it and then spray it with that clear flex seal to water proof it. so for $250 I have a place where I hang out and drink my coffee in the morning surrounded by a jungle of house plants.
