I believe it is a weed. I have it too and it pops up with other plants. I keep pulling it, but it comes back, but it isn't too bad to control.

It looks to me like lemon verben.
Weed
If it has a squarish stem it is most likely an herb, especially if it's aromatic.
To me, it looks like a Lipstick plant or a Goldfish plant.
