Shed plans can probably be found at your local library.

First Draw up a plan or obtain a plan From that you will be able to estimate the timbers, Nails, Screws, Roofing you will require. Before starting your project, go look at and make notes on Sheds ready available to buy, you may feel it's a job you could easily tackle, but if not, you will know what it would cost to buy outright........Good luck, I've done both................

I remember that he got the sill from the nearby beach! The window and door were junking finds (free) I think he just knew how to do it but he does study every craft he engages in. So this would have been carpentry books. Plus he is (hate to say it) but a man so stronger than I am!

tu Ours is not fancy, but it is sturdy. My husband used free pallets for walls, and 2x4's for roof brace and bought tin to cover it all, like they use for a roof on a shop. When we had 90 mph winds peoples' sidings were blowing off and sheds coming apart. Ours was not even leaking from the winds. He built a wood floor before placing the pallets. Also, the pallets double to stick our tools in for storage, very handy.
