It depends on how long they would have been in water. Solid wood may be savable, but veneer may not. Plastic yes. Make sure you rinse all in fresh water as soon as possible to minimize damage from salt water as it will mix in with the rain water, the storm surge can pass on the salt water for a long ways once the ground is saturated with rain. The salt can cause a lot of damage to anything, especially metals. I hope you find that all is well with you and your family when the storm is over. We are all praying for everyone caught in the path of the storm.
I hope you were able to move your best loved pieces up to a second story, attic or totally away from the area of the flood. Water is as damaging as the wind (tornadoes here), so you will need to get your items out, sunned and dried as quickly as possible.
I know how overwhelming this is for you and your neighbors but know that we as a nation hope you and your families will come through safely and recover quickly.
All wood pieces are certainly worth saving and let dry out, you can always refinish or paint. Upholstered furniture mught be worth saving id it has goid bones and a sound structure, you will just have to let it dy out and see what condition it is in.
You will need to wipe down whatever you save with bleach and water,or some other disinfectant like lysol, to ensure the contaminated water that might have feces and other bacterium in it that is harmful. Fabrics can also be washed and treated with antibacterial products like lysol laundry soap... https://jet.com/product/detail/c6783a6b28ac4e959531aed711447ab5?jcmp=pla:ggl:NJ_cons_Gen_Household_Supplies_a3:Household_Supplies_Laundry_Other_Laundry_Care_a3:na:PLA_784505252_41365548152_aud-318763390747:pla-305748964779:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15&pid=kenshoo_int&c=784505252&is_retargeting=true&clickid=33a595da-fe06-4e02-b3d4-9f982708a6a9
I would rinse down with a hose before putting in the washer, and I think I would add a 1/2c of 20 Mule Team Laundry Borax in the 1st rinse.
Don't forget to use bleach water to keep the mold from forming
