If your armoire is already painted and you want to repaint it, then you could paint it with canned spray paint rather than using a paint brush; however, you'll need to paint one part at a time while that side/part is lying flat and be very patient,, spraying thin coats, letting each coat of paint dry between coats, in order to prevent runs/drips. Rust Oleum makes a premium paint that, supposedly, will stick to just about anything, even plastic.
