I love anything marble, and the new trendy hairpin tables are right up my alley. When I saw this plant stand, I couldn't help but wonder what it would look like in copper. I love the way that this table turned out, and how easy this project was.

Get a plant stand with hairpin legs. I found mine at the dollar store. Yes, the dollar store. Can I get a high five?

Spray paint your stand with a copper spray paint that works on the type of material that your stand is. Mine is metal. Rust-Oleum is great for most surfaces, and I love it. You could also paint your stand or gold, or any color that you love. Black would be super trendy.

My stand needed 2 layers of spray paint.

Get a marble tile from Home Depot. They are so inexpensive and real marble looks better than contact paper over wood. Glue it to your planter (I suggest E6000)

Ta-Da! A trendy side table!

I use mine as a night stand for my phone and glasses.

. I just love the before and after!

It can totally still be used as a plant stand, too. I love how spray paint can totally reinvent almost anything.
