Assuming you mean "hold" not "fold". Chances are good that your legs, securely installed to a well-made top, will work fine as a place to hold your corn-eating contest.
1) Where did you get the legs? If new, doesn't the seller give a hint as to the capacity? If old, are they in good condition? How big was the table they came from? 2) What is the top made of and how is it constructed? 3) How will the legs attach to the top? 4) What are you planning on putting on the table?
Simple questions here usually don't get simple answers. At least not answers that are useful.
Hairpin legs should be sturdy enough. I would maybe worry about the middle sagging, but that is a possibility for a table that long, despite the type of legs. Post a pic when you are done!
