Attaching runner on staircase
I have a slippery staircase that I would like to attach a carpet runner on but would occasionally like to change it out. Any ideas for attachment to laminate wood flooring?

You used to be able to buy Carpet Rods or Carpet Retainers that held the carpet in place, might be worth enquiring at your local DIY Store.
Some of them you glue down and then most you have to use stables or carpet rods. I used stables in a rental I have and it turned out really good. I had to hammer some of the stables in a little farther, so there wasn't anything sharp They are still there 3 years later. You can't see the stables. Just make sure you have a heavy duty stable gun.
