Valspar makes a brushed pearl finish paint. You can have it custom tinted to color-match the Behr "Violet Vista" shade you like, but with the iridescence you're looking for: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Valspar-Brushed-Pearl-Tintable-Satin-Latex-Interior-Paint-Actual-Net-Contents-116-fl-oz/3078057
Sounds awesome to me and there must be a way - sort of a "top coat" like nail polish. Here are a couple links to peruse - looks to me as if you need a metallic glaze - there are a lot of excellent Hometalkers far more savvy in paint products than I am and hopefully they will jump in with better suggestions. Hope this at least gets you headed in the right direction. Hope you post on Hometalk when done, love to see the end result!

Some add it directly to the paint. Prime, 1-2 base coats, then your glaze/clear coat with the pearl pigment. I like low nap to foam roller.
