Can I winter (in my house) Calladiums & Coleus ?

I have a Bay window in my living room that is fairly sunny once my Maple trees go to sleep for the winter (Wisconsin!). I have a couple lg. flower pots that are spectacular & would like to enjoy them longer . Any tips, tricks ???

Normally you let the leaves die off and put the roots, bulbs, whatever you want to call them in a cool, dark and dry place in the house for the winter and replant them in the spring. My two huge half barrels are taller than me with the caladiums and the lower coleus. My pots are too big and heavy to bring in for the winter. If your plants are shaded by the maples (Mine are shaded by a maple four feet across), you need to have them in the same light conditions. Mine are still putting out new leaves!
