Best bathroom vanity countertop material?

We are remodeling our bathroom and will have a 4', single sink white countertop. We are not necessarily in love with granite and have a medium budget. Is Quartz a good option or is there a better choice?

Quartz is the best material available for countertops!! It is NO maintenance...
unlike granite, which you have to sometimes maintain the grout. There is quite a variety of colors and textures...It has depth when you look down upon it. IF you do have a very large space to cover, it might get pricy. But, for small or average spaces, you will do well...It will stand the test of time...it is the most durable surface. DO NOT GET cultured marble, as it gets scratches, and if you get a stain, it has to be professionally buffed out. You also have to be ultra careful how you clean it!! The sinks were a pain to deal with.
Quartz is a great option. It is the cleanest material for counter tops.
