Probably traps. Over the winter we caught 10 moles in our side yard and after the recent rains we have heavy tunneling in front. We caught one the first morning after setting two traps. I've used "gopher gassers", poison peanuts, etc with no success -- at least it seemed that way.
If you or if you know anyone who has snakes, keep the skin when they shed and place a good long piece in each in hole. They won't be back. Tried and true!

Note to above reply: We think TOMCAT traps from the home star are the best. Gopher traps are much larger I believe.Answer this Hometalker's question!

get some bubble gum, unwrap it, throw it down the hole, they can't digest it and it will kill them.
