How do I get wallpaper round a corner that is not straight

Go to the corner and overlap the corner by about 1" or less - as long as the overlap goes the full height of the wall (it will depend on just how crooked the corner is). begin with a new width of paper, making sure it is plumb visually - do not line it up with the corner. Run a sharp blade the length of the overlap, going through both layers of paper. Remove the top excess strip and lift the top layer so that you can remove the excess strip below it. Now the two widths of paper should butt up perfectly with no overlap. You will have on wall that will appear a bit off (how much depends on the design of your paper), so make that wall the least noticeable when you are planning.

If inside corner, let one wall's paper overlap corner by a few inches. Then, hang the next panel in the adjacent wall, overlapping as well...make sure any patern is matched. then cut down the corner and remove the overlapped piece and the overlapping piece on the adjacent wall. Then press the edges of the two pieces in the corner so that they stick well.

If outside corner, wrap around and cut straight down wall. Then, overlap the next panel, matching pattern, cut, remove excess, and continue with next panel. The key is to match pattern.

Or you can try stopping at outside corner, cutting on corner, and then doing the same with the next panel, again matching pattern.

When we had that problem, we did our best, but ended up cutting it at the corner and starting clean on the other wall. My husband bought a corner cover from our local hardware store to cover where we had to separate the 2 pieces on the corner. Hope this helps
