You can also salveage it- http://blog.thetubestore.com/reduce-reuse-recycle-diy-guitar-amp-from-salvaged-parts/
Take the mechanics out, spray paint/paint it a metallic or color. Cut and attach a piece of plywood or a sheet of stainless steel, etc. in place of the speaker screen. Attach four table legs and either paint them black or match your decor/color you painted the box. Use it for a side table. You can paint any kind of pattern or design on sides or even decoupage. Also, for the top, you could do a mosaic and depending on where you decide to use it, you could fill with shells or pop/beer bottle tops or matchbox cars, legos, etc and pour epoxy over for table top. :)

Depending on the size of the amp, what about turning it into a table lamp or if it's big...a floor lamp.
Put bluetooth speakers inside it.🎶
Take the plug and plug it into a skeleton head and hang the head on the wall.
It would be weird, but cool; a real conversation piece!
