Hello Melody! Home talk has some neat crayon crafts . Take a look at the link below -- there are a number of great options from which you can choose:

If you mean for younger children, you can have different leaves to place under paper for leaf rubbings in the Fall and a container of different flat objects for other times like various coins, a comb, etc.

We have gotten white t shirts to fit the children and find some iron-ons that are age appropriate or let each child choose. Make cardboard cutouts to fit in the t shirt to hold them flat and stable. Let the kids "paint" their design with crayons.

You can use any brand crayons, BUT the Crayola Crayon brand works the best and have the best color retention. Now, this step is so very important! When everyone is done (may take more than one art session), place a piece of paper towel on top and iron over the picture to set the color. (I use 'only 100% cotton t shirts and that way I can iron each one with the iron set on high heat so the crayon will set well). Each child has their own wearable work of art, and you can display them in the room for a time.

If you have any question about the colors staying, drop a crayola in your dryer with you whites sometime. IT NEVER COMES OUT! Good luck with your project. God bless
