Using an insecticide, after fruit is on the tree, is much easier and less expensive, unless you have very small trees. Look online for commercial agricultural netting.

Hello! You could try your local garden supply store but not all garden stores may carry the size you want. It is faster and easier just to purchase netting online. Just go to Google or any online search engine and type in netting for trees. Or go to Amazon.com and do a search there. You will find what you need either way.

Netting will not stop Japanese beetles. Beetle traps will attract them to your yard. However you can use a product called Milky Spore to greatly reduce their numbers. The Milky Spore is a fine dust you apply to your grass and water in. The spores multiply and kill the grubs when the beetles are young. It is expensive, but lasts about ten years before you see their numbers increasing again. It works on several types of grubs that eat your grass roots then develop into those gross beetles.
