You can put 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup olive oil into a spray bottle. Shake to mix and spray on leather. Wipe with soft dry cloth. If you don't like the vinegar smell, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture. The vinegar smell goes away pretty fast anyway .

I've been working with leather (I ride horses) for years. Leather Therapy is what I go to for every bit I own. It cleans, softens and conditions. Can even sometimes fade scratches. You can find it in any feed store and on line. Probably lots of other places, too.
I use a multi surface dusting polish on mine. You could also use a leather cleaner and conditioner. You can use the same one they sell for cars.
