How do I hang curtains (pocket top) on drapery rods?

My apartment has drapery rods already mounted and I am not allowed to change them to curtain rods. How do I hang curtains on the drapery rods? I can use the drapery hooks, but I think they will show and I don't want them to look tacky.

Can you remove the hooks and store them? Maybe try using a ring with a clip as long as the ring part is big enough to slide on the rod, You can make them look more designer that way!

if you are not allowed to remove the drapery rod and it's too big for those pocket tops are too small, then get a rod hang it a couple of inches from the ceiling and cover the hardware you are not using!

You can buy velcro and create tabs at equal distance and hang them that way,

You can use the drapery hooks @Carol Scott ! Just hook them into the back of the pocket catching the back and a tiny bit of the front fabric (being careful not to poke through to the outside of the front pocket). The rounded top of the drapery hook should line up with the top of the pocket. If the curtains are too long you can move the hook down from the top or just hem the curtains depending on the length.
