How do you paint a powder-coated garage door?

I want to change the color of my garage door. I am not sure what to do, since the garage doors are powder coated. I understand that I may be eliminating the durability/longevity of the finish.

Call a local garage door installer company, they might help you. Also call Homedepot or Lowe's, paint department and ask about powder coated door. Good Luck!
