.If they are just wood " boxes" on the wall, they can be trimmed anyway you want with a trip to a Lowe's and/ or craft store. In the lumber section, you can buy inexpensive wood trim in various shapes Cut them to fit the outside doors, glue with wood glue and brads and paint to match or contrast. In a crafts store you can find lots of 3D shapes to attach. This can be fun!
