It will kill weeds. Vinegar kills any plant so be careful.

1/2 tsp dawn, 1/2 - 1 cup of vinegar, half gallon to 1 gallon of water. Depending on how strong you need it to be. I clean with a lot of vinegar with some essential oil scent in it. I love it. Some say they don't like the vinegar smell and that it lingers, but I haven't noticed that. I think everything smells nice and clean.

For cleaning or killing weeds? For weeds, the soap helps the vinegar stick to the plant rather than just run off. Put vinegar in a regular spray bottle almost to the top and add 2 big sqirts of dishwashing liquid.

For cleaning, some sites say 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 dishwashing liquid and that is way too much...You will spend a ton of time washing it off. The formula from the poster above works well. I personally use it straight: In a spray bottle 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 cheap bottled lemon juice, and then I give 2 big squeezes of the dishwashing liquid. I've recently started making citrus vinegar: citrus peels in a big glass bottle, then I add vinegar to the top, and let it sit for 2 weeks. I pour that into my spray bottle and add fragrance-free dishwashing liquid or lemon-scented...it smells SO good!
