A good soak in vinegar or some Goo Gone or WD 40 ought to do the trick.
Soak it in hot water to loosen the label (for example in a basin in the sink after doing dishes). Then, peel as much of it off as possible, leaving residue. I sprinkle baking soda into the residue, and work it in. Give it a couple of mnutes and work it in more with your fingers. I go over it with a green scrubbie and voila! Sometimes it takes two applications, but, works as well for me as Goo Gone.
Soak in hot water, let it sit, then use a scrubbie sponge, it should come off. Good Luck!
Try using nail polish remover.
cooking oil, rub into label, let sit for a few, should slide off, may take more than one application (baking soda mixed with the oil might help). If it's being stubborn try WD40, it has a little grit.
I had already tried the things suggested and none of them worked. Good try though.
Ahh that is totally different! Have you tried fingernail polish remover? You may have to hold the cotton ball on it for 10 seconds or so but that and scrubbing/scraping should do the trick! Had you considered painting over it with gold spray??
This is ink or paint directly on the glass and not a label. Thanks anyway.
